Schwanden – an idyllic summer and winter holiday destination

Schwanden is situated beneath the Sigriswil Rothorn peak on a high plateau (900 to 1100 m) seldom affected by fog. It is a family friendly resort which offers guests a good choice of hiking trails amidst untouched flora and fauna. In winter the ski pistes and cross-country ski trails provide variety for sports fans and the observatory allows a glimpse of the universe.
