description: "The hike starts in Beatenbucht, the first ascent is done comfortably with the funicular railway to Beatenberg. Now it is time to lace up your hiking boots. Over Waldbrand, the path leads you with a steady incline towards Niederhorn, Burgfeld, with a dreamy view into the most beautiful panorama of the Alps, including the triad Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau. For the ascent to Niederhorn you can also use the cable car. The overwhelming deep view from the ridge trail at Niederhorn into the Justistal feels like flying on the back of a raven! With some luck, ibex, chamois, and more can be spotted. Through a unique topography and flora via Burgfeld, Chüematte, you reach Waldegg. From Waldegg by post bus back to Beatenberg railway station and with the funicular railway back to Beatenbucht. In winter the route is marked as a winter hiking trail or snowshoe trail."
