The cattle drive in the Suldtal is an extraordinary spectacle for young and old alike, and is visited every year by many locals and visitors from around the world. A shuttle bus is available, running from Aeschiried to Restaurant Pochtenfall in the Suldtal, where tables and benches await visitors. The journey into the wild and romantic Suldtal is an experience in itself, and a perfect opportunity to take in the impressive natural surroundings and beautiful autumn colours. At midday, admire the cattle drive and its throng of smiling children dressed in traditional costumes, along with the white and multicoloured goats and the cows wonderfully decorated with colourful flowers. The alpine dairymen skilfully ensure that all the animals remain in line, and the well-fed cows parade with pride after a long summer in the Alps. You can also explore the Suldtal on foot while taking a leisurely hike.
