Marble run magic – the Chugeli Trail Aeschi
The route starts at the PostBus stop in Aeschiried. Here you'll find a marble machine where you can pick up a wooden marble to take along on the trail. After about 4.7 kilometers and 1.5 hours, the easy hike ends on the village square in Aeschi. Two more marble runs can be found at the Restaurant Chemihütte and Gasthaus Suld.
At the start of the trail in Aeschiried, you can pick up a wooden marble to take with you for CHF 5.00 from the marble machine. The 4.7-kilometer trail to Aeschi features 10 marble runs built by regional craftsmen and schools, plus two more at the Restaurant Chemihütte and Gasthaus Suld. Along the way, the view of the Niesen, the Bernese Alps, and Lake Thun opens up. Llamas and horses provide some variety. At the barbecue spot, you can take a break and the trail ends at Aeschi village square after about an hour and a half.

- The marble machine only works with cash, but marbles are also available from several partner companies in Aeschi
- The path is not suitable for strollers and sturdy footwear is recommended
- Travel by PostBus (line 62 from Spiez) is recommended, as parking spaces in Aeschiried are limited
- Open from April to October, daily from 8.30 am to 6.00 pm
