Find out what’s behind your favorite spices and discover a family tradition in the heart of the Simmental valley

In the Simmental valley, Swiss Alpine Herbs has been turning organic Swiss Alpine herbs into spice blends, iced tea, and syrup since 1991. On a company tour, you'll discover how they do it and find out more about a company with firm roots in the valley.

The moment you step into the production area, you'll know what it's all about: The scent of mountain herbs is literally in the air. At Swiss Alpine Herbs in Därstetten, you'll get a glimpse behind the scenes of a company that’s been using the power of Swiss mountain herbs in its products for decades.

Lasting about an hour, the tour guides you through the world of organic Alpine herbs, explaining each individual production step from raw material to finished product. You'll see how dried herbs are transformed into spice blends, how iced tea and syrup are bottled, and feel the care that goes into every product.

Afterwards, you'll have the chance to buy the products directly on site and take a piece of mountain herb wisdom home with you.

Guided tours take place every Wednesday at 10 am. Groups of ten or more can book individual appointments by prior arrangement.
