- Start: Interlaken West Station
- Destination: Wilderswil Station
The route starts at Interlaken West station at Rugenparkstrasse towards Heimwehfluhbahn. The road leads uphill through the Rugen Forest past the rope park to the Unspunnen guesthouse. The motorway bridge is crossed, and after the Rugenbräu brewery, the route continues to the right above the paved road. On the rising gravel path, it goes to the Unspunnen castle ruins, which have existed since the early 12th century. The slab path to Wilderswil offers a magnificent view over Matten and Bönigen and the fantastic mountain world at Lake Brienz. Upon arrival in Wilderswil, turn left and after a few hundred meters pass Bärenplatz. Kirchgasse leads to Wilderswil station where the route ends.
