Pleasant descent from the Ramslauenen viewpoint down into the Kiental. The route offers interesting insights into the natural habitat of the region as a themed path. The focus is on the cuckoo, which also gave the path its name "Guggerwäg." Mountain hiking trail; partly on hard surface in the valley.

In a leisurely ride, the chairlift takes you from the Kiental PostBus stop to the starting point Ramslauenen. Beautiful views of the Niesen range and Lake Thun as well as Wätterlatte and Latrejespitz on the opposite valley side. The route leads downhill on alp roads and pasture paths. The path runs partly through mountain forest, then again over open terrain.
Along the way, interesting facts about the cuckoo and other animals in the Federal game reserve Kiental are shared.
In the Lengschwendi area, the view widens to the rear Kiental and the distinctive Gamchilücke between the peaks of Blüemlisalp and Gspaltenhorn in the valley background. The path turns into a paved alp road, which branches down to Gornerewasser at the Gürmschi location and leads to Hotel Alpenruhe, the destination of the "Guggerwäg." A rewarding alternative for the return by PostBus is walking back on the valley path to Kiental (1 hour additional walking time).
