On the internet, Hasliberg is described as an impressive holiday region in the heart of Switzerland. Here is a suggestion for a pleasant hike without special requirements, but with lasting impressions. Some sections are on hard surfaces.

At the starting point of the hike, the Brünig-Hasliberg railway station, the destination Reuti with the addition Panorama Trail must be noted. Follow the pass road briefly up to the pass summit, cross the Zentralbahn line on the overpass, and shortly after turn left onto the footpath in the forest. A carved wooden sign with the inscription Panoramaweg Hasliberg welcomes the hikers. At the Bodmi bus stop, cross the Hasliberg road. At the next signpost after the forest, turn half left and walk up to the Bären bus stop. Continue on the cantonal road until you reach the signpost indicating the location Hohfluh 1052 m. The panorama trail is now reached again. The hike continues ascending through the village of Hohfluh and along a stream. On the subsequent ridge path, there is a view of the Aare and Reichenbach valleys with the Wetterhorn and the Rosenlaui glacier. A panorama board names the visible mountains. What is missing on the board is the Brienzer Rothorn, as it is hidden by the Wilerhorn. Shortly afterwards, the bathing lake appears. Continuing uphill and later on level ground, the hike leads through the district of Wasserwendi. Now the previously missing Brienzer Rothorn is visible. Later descend through the forest and cross the Alpbachgraben. After the forest, turn right. The descent to the destination takes place on a zig-zag path near the mountain railway to the intermediate station Reuti.
