From Grindelwald Dorf, this trail leads towards Bonera on the east side of the Eiger and from there onto the world-famous Eiger Trail below the Eiger North Face. The path winds through an impressive moraine glacier landscape up to the Eigergletscher. From here, it continues over the Kleine Scheidegg to Männlichen, where you enjoy a breathtaking view of the snow-covered peaks of the surrounding 4000-meter mountains. From Männlichen, the long descent to Schwendi can be tackled. Alternatively, you can also take the gondola, either from Männlichen or the middle station Holenstein, back down to the valley.
