Bern Concert Orchestra - Fall Concert

An Evening Full of Romance and Rich Sound
The Bern Concert Orchestra invites you to its fall concert. The program centers on Sergei Rachmaninoff’s famous Piano Concerto No. 2, one of the most impressive works in the Romantic piano repertoire. The internationally acclaimed pianist Igor Andreev will perform as soloist.
The program opens with Antonín Dvořák’s Symphony No. 8. Sounds inspired by nature, dance-like rhythms, and sweeping melodies characterize this symphony and give it its unmistakable character.
