From November 6 to 9, 2025, Thun-Expo will once again be transformed into a vibrant meeting place for craftsmanship, creativity and enjoyment. The regional exhibition with charm NEULAND will surprise visitors this year with the motto "Rich in Stone" and take young and old on a journey of discovery into the fascinating world of stone.
Around 150 exhibitors will be presenting their passionately crafted products, creative ideas and services at the 28th NEULAND. The atmospheric "Neuland-Märit" attracts visitors with handmade treasures - from candles, wooden toys and jewelry to Christmas decorations. A treasure trove for anyone looking for beautiful, practical and original items. The exhibition offers the ideal opportunity to find your first Christmas gifts, try out new things and talk to the makers in person.
Baked goods, the art of brewing and a convivial atmosphere
Where tradition meets innovation, enjoyment is guaranteed: The Bern-Solothurn Association of Bakers and Confectioners is once again inviting visitors to its fragrant gingerbread bakery and presenting award-winning confectionery craftsmanship from the region.
Those who prefer liquid delights will find what they are looking for at the Craft Beer Festival Thun. Here, local breweries pour out their specialties. Whether sparkling, tart or fruity - there's something for every palate. And best of all: the party continues until 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. The perfect opportunity to round off the day at the fair in a convivial atmosphere.
Special show "Steinreich" - highly impressive
A special highlight of this year's NEULAND is the special show "Steinreich", which brings stone to life in all its facets. Blocks of rock weighing several tons are transported from the Kandertal valley to Thun - impressive witnesses of geological time travel. The show demonstrates how versatile and lively this ancient material is: from precious gemstones to artistically crafted objects and massive rock formations. Visitors learn how stone is formed and has shaped our lives for thousands of years. Anyone who enters the exhibition discovers that there is a whole world in every stone - and leaves "stone-rich" in knowledge, impressions and ideas.
The following organizations are involved in the special exhibition "Steinreich":
SHB Steinbruch + Hartschotterwerk Blausee-Mitholz AG / Vigier Beton; Jonas Brandenberg; Bildhauerwerkstatt, Steffisburg, Schrag Event + Handel, Aefligen, Rufibach Mineralien, Bern, St. Beatus-Höhlen, Sundlauenen; Atelier Veyre, Steffisburg; Création Yolanda KLG, Hemberg (St. Gallen); Mineralien und Fossilienfreunde Bern
We look forward to your visit - Your Neuland Team
