Circular hike at the foot of the Altels

From Kandersteg, the Sunnbüel aerial cableway takes you up to the winter hiking paradise. You can reach the cableway from Kandersteg in a half-hour hike or comfortably by local bus. The second option in the Gemmi area is the newly designed and well-prepared Altelsblick circular hiking trail. The approximately one-hour walk is especially suitable for leisure hikers. From the starting point at the Sunnbüel mountain station, it goes towards Spittelmatti, always heading towards the sun.

Return journey: After a small refreshment in the mountain restaurant, take the Sunnbüel aerial cableway back down to Kandersteg. Enjoy the view into the Gastern valley during the ride.
