A versatile circular route passes by the Protestant church, going up the "Feldweg" into the "Wildi" area. After a few minutes, you will find yourself in the midst of the deeply snow-covered Oeschi forest – a place of idyll and relaxation. After the starting point of the sled run, you cross the Oeschi stream and walk past the valley station of the Oeschinen lake cable car. The hike continues through the Oeschigässli towards the north. Tip: Enjoy the snowy winter landscape in one of the best-sunned areas in Kandersteg. Benches invite you to linger. From the dam, you stroll leisurely along the Kander river to the train station.
