Today's stage will lead us over a distance of 13.6 km with a walking time of around 4.0 hours from Merligen to Thun. We can expect a medium stage. We start the hike at the Grönbach and leave Merligen heading northwest. Shortly afterwards, we reach the highest point of the stage at 650 m above sea level. We follow the signposted paths and reach Gunten after about 4.5 km. The path continues along Lake Thun and after about 8.0 km, we arrive in Oberhofen. Via Hilterfingen and Hünibach, we reach the Aare and then Thun. Today's path takes us over asphalt and natural trails.
