This easy circular hike promises great enjoyment guaranteed. The start is at the Hünibode bus stop in Heiligenschwendi. Nature lovers especially enjoy the moments along the way through the Eggwald forest towards Wolfgruebe. A detour to the "Blueme" lookout tower in Schwanden is worthwhile. From the platform of the 16m high tower, there is a breathtaking view of the deep blue Lake Thun and the Bernese Alps. At the foot of the tower, benches with tables and barbecue areas invite you to a cozy rest. Back on the hiking trail, the route goes along the "Blueme-Sunnsyte" and via Hinderport past the Rehab Center back to Hünibode.

By car from Bern via the A6 motorway to Thun, exit Thun North and continue towards the hospital and then via Goldiwil to Heiligenschwendi to the Hünibode parking lot (approx. 15 minutes)

Public transportationPublic transport from Thun with the STI bus lines 31/32 to the Heiligenschwendi, Hünibode bus stop.
Return trip with the STI bus line 32 is also possible from the Rehab Center.

The "Blueme" lookout tower is a great experience even in bad weather. Weather and cloud plays can be observed from the tower, from the Jura to the High Alps.
