Those who enjoy hiking and want to learn more about railways and the landscape can combine the educational with the pleasant on the Lötschberger railway hiking route. The path partly runs along the tracks but also leads high above the railway line and offers impressive views over the Kander Valley from there. In 2014/15, the hiking trail was completely refreshed.
