Past luxurious boutiques, the hiking adventure begins at the valley station Eggli in Gstaad. The cable car can save additional elevation meters. At the mountain restaurant Eggli, there is a last opportunity to stop before the challenging hike. Climbing over Hinders Eggli, the trail of the Via Alpina leads over the Muttehubel and offers beautiful views of the mighty Gummfluh. The path becomes increasingly wild and leads through a rockier landscape. Over the adventurous Trittlisattel, you reach the narrowest point – the Britschespalt. At the pass crossing Col de Jable, the hike also crosses the language border into Vaud. It continues with wonderful mountain panorama to L’Etivaz, where the famous cheese of the same name can be tasted as a finale.
