Snowshoe circular route on the sunny terrace of the Diemtigtal

Signposted snowshoe route (circular route) on the sunny terrace of the Diemtigtal Nature Park. The starting points of the 5.6 kilometer snowshoe route (circular route) are the two restaurants Gsässweid and Springeboden. The path is signposted, but snowshoers break their own track. After the ascent, there is an impressive first view of the back of the Diemtigtal and Simmental from the Alp "Otteschwand." From the highest point Nüjestift, the descent leads over snow-covered alpine meadows past lonely alpine huts and large mountain maples. With some imagination, the distinctive trees look like huge snow sculptures. Back at the parking lot, snowshoers like to warm up with a hot drink in one of the mountain inns.
