The route first runs hilly, past the Geistsee up to the Gürbe and then along it to Wattenwil. You continue riding on the left valley slope with a beautiful view into the Gürbetal and the Bernese Alps to Blumenstein. The route runs briefly on the Stockentaler Hausweg with its well-preserved houses. At the upper edge of the village of Blumenstein is the junction to the Blumenstein church. After a short, steep climb, you reach from Pohlern the main road to Niederstocken. You then cycle through the Seeliswald, a small protected raised bog with carnivorous sundew, until you reach the Glütschbach valley. In the middle is a nice, shady grill and rest area by the water. Here a short break is worthwhile. The last section of the route leads you along the Amsoldinger and Uebeschisee back to Uetendorf.
