  • Destination: Axalp/Teiffental

The starting point for all snowshoe trails is the Axalp/Sportbahnen bus stop.

Behind the Axalp Stübli restaurant, the snowshoe trail follows the Schnitzlerweg, known in summer and now deeply covered with snow. Some caution is required in the area of the Gausbands (rock band). Otherwise, the route leads through untouched forests and across sparkling snowfields to the mystical Hinterburgseeli lying ahead.

From Hinterburgseeli, follow the summer road down into the deeply snow-covered Gou area. Here, the Totzweg and Teiffental trails branch off. The easier trail continues along the summer road to the Teiffental bus stop. The post bus takes you back from Teiffental to the starting point Axalp/Sportbahnen. Combine your trip there with a cozy hut experience including a fondue party!
