Short but varied circular hike above Leissigen with spectacular views of Lake Thun and the impressive Niederhorn range. The path leads through shady forest and pasture uphill to the 140-meter-long panoramic bridge, which crosses the Spissibach at an airy height of 60 m. Crossing the bridge is free of charge. There are dining options at the Berghaus Meielisalp or in the village of Leissigen below. Those who wish can shorten the route somewhat – along the way, you pass the Hodler memorial. The route is especially suitable for families with older children, as it is short but not boring. Start and finish is the village of Leissigen, which is easily accessible by train or car. At the end of the hike, a refreshing jump into Lake Thun or a break at the lakeside beach is recommended.
