Grimmialpbergbahnen in the Diemtigtal Nature Park
In summer, the Grimmialpbergbahnen chair lift brings you to the starting point for hikes. As soon as the first snow falls, the slopes are prepared. The skiing region, which is clearly planned, has a chair lift, a T-bar lift and a children’s lift, making it especially popular with families.
Take the chair lift to Stierenberg station. From here, a stunning hiking region opens onto an imposing alpine panorama. In winter, the Grimmialpbergbahnen transports you to a family-friendly skiing region complete with chair lift, T-bar lift and children’s lift.

Openings
- Winter Operations:
Skiing will be available on weekends as soon as possible, with continuous skiing scheduled from December 25, 2026, through March 14, 2027.
If skiing is not possible due to insufficient snow, the chairlift will be open to pedestrians on weekends when the weather is nice and conditions are favorable.

May 14 through October 18, 2026: Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays
During the summer and fall breaks (July 8 through August 9 & September 23 through October 11): Wednesday through Sunday
The cable car runs from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
