From Hünibach through the impressive Cholerenschlucht to Goldiwil: a perfect hike for hot summer days. The route takes you along water basins and waterfalls shaped over centuries by the Cholerenbach. Along the way you will find ideal play opportunities for children and families in the forest. From Goldiwil via hidden paths to Dörfli (municipality Heiligenschwendi) and towards Halten, then via traditional paths, past the round pavilion, the route leads over Chelli back to Hünibach.

Hünibach – Cholereschlucht – Eichgut – Goldiwil – Wiler – Dörfli Heiligenschwendi – Bode – Halten- Trachtweg – Chelli – back to the starting point (From Goldiwil it is possible to return by STI bus to Thun).

- Getting there
By car from Bern via motorway A6 to the Thun North exit, then continue towards Gunten to Hünibach (approx. 10 minutes).
ParkingPaid parking at Ländtestrasse and Alpenstrasse
Public transportationFrom Thun with the STI bus line 21/25 to the bus stop Hünibach, Chartreuse (at the route's starting point) or from Thun by boat to Hünibach (see current BLS shipping timetable for Lake Thun).
From Goldiwil it is possible to return by STI bus line 31/32 to Thun.

Ideal on hot summer days: a hike in the cool gorge climate! After returning, the nearby Lake Thun offers an opportunity for a refreshing swim, with the possibility to enjoy refreshments at the snack bar.
