With Hene on the Öpfelchüechli route

The Öpfelchüechli route is a treat for all the senses. The path mostly gently descends over lush alpine pastures, flower-rich meadows, and cozy forest sections. And again and again, hikers meet Hene. Six info boards share knowledge about fruit. Did you know that a Swiss person eats around 20 kilograms of apples per year?

Along the route through the stunning scenery, the impressive backdrop of Eiger, Schreck- and Wetterhorn is always with you. The crowning and delicious finale of the Öpfelchüechli route is at the mountain restaurant Brandegg. Here, the best apple fritters in the world are prepared.

Wood is available at the barbecue places.
