The Bödeliweg leads through Interlaken and Unterseen and allows you to get to know the small artisan shops along the route.

Starting and ending at Postplatz, the Bödeliweg takes you on a city walk through Interlaken and Unterseen. Along the way, you will repeatedly encounter small shops that continue the long tradition of various crafts or boast a sustainable and environmentally friendly business concept. Among others, you will meet a hat maker, a saddler, a woodturner, and a wood sculptor. Of course, their products can also be purchased. On the route, you also have the opportunity to stop for a cosy coffee break at the café «spatz – gastro & so». For the approximately 1.3 km circular walk, including visiting the shops, you will need about 1.5 hours.

Directions

Start at Postplatz and walk through Marktgasse and over the railway crossing towards Unterseen. In Unterseen, follow the Spielmatte of the Aare river and cross the river via the old lock. Then follow the path until you reach Postgasse. Walk through Postgasse, turn into Blumenstrasse, and follow the street until you are back at Postplatz.
