Hike independently through the breathtaking panorama of the Interlaken holiday region and get to know Switzerland from its most natural side. Enjoy exclusive beers or wines from the region at five different stations. At the "Oberländerhof" restaurant in Bönigen, another culinary highlight awaits you for lunch. The breathtaking view of the turquoise Brienz Lake combined with delicious drinks will surely amaze you!

Directions

The hike starts at the Youth Hostel near Interlaken Ost train station. There, you receive your starter pack and a welcome drink. Then, walk along the turquoise Aare to Lake Brienz up to the Bönigen beach (2nd station), where you taste a second drink. At the Oberländerhof restaurant in Bönigen (3rd station), a hearty "Tüürli lunch" awaits you. After the meal, take the boat to Ringgenberg and then head up to the fourth station at the idyllic Burgseeli. Depending on the weather, a refreshment in the little lake is possible. From there, follow the right bank of the Aare to the Riverlodge (5th station), where you taste the last drink with full enjoyment and end the day comfortably.

Getting there

We recommend arriving by public transport. The starting point is located very close to Interlaken Ost train station.

Public transportation

The Youth Hostel is a 5-minute walk from Interlaken Ost train station.

Pure walking time: approx. 2h

However, we recommend planning the Tüürli as a full day program, so there is plenty of time for tasting and enjoying.
